Many products sold by Plato Surfaces are natural stone or stone-related materials. Natural variation is expected and is not considered a defect.

5. Measurements and Sizing
Customers are responsible for ordering the correct size, quantity, material, finish, and product type. Product dimensions may be approximate and may have industry-standard tolerances.
For installation, cutting, fitting, and project planning, we recommend that customers consult a qualified installer, contractor, or professional before ordering.
Plato Surfaces is not responsible for measurement mistakes, installation errors, incorrect product selection, or project planning mistakes made by the customer or installer.
6. Orders
When you place an order, you agree that all information provided is accurate, complete, and current. This includes your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment information.
After an order is placed, we may send an order confirmation by email. An order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance of the order. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing errors
- Website errors
- Payment issues
- Suspected fraud
- Shipping limitations
- Incorrect customer information
If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will issue a refund according to our refund policy.
7. Pricing and Payment

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. Plato Surfaces is not responsible for delays, lost shipments, or extra charges caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information.
For large, heavy, fragile, or freight shipments, customers may be required to inspect the shipment upon delivery. Any visible damage should be noted with the carrier at the time of delivery and reported to us as soon as possible.
9. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items
Customers must inspect all products after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, missing, or incorrect, or a package is lost, use our Request a Replacement page within 10 days after delivery, with photos of the item and the packaging and a description of the issue.
Claims may be denied if the product has been installed, cut, altered, used, discarded, or if the damage was not reported within 10 days after delivery.

10. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are handled according to our Refund and Returns Policy. Standard-size items can be returned within 30 days after you receive them if they are unused, uncut and in their original packaging. The customer pays return shipping. We process the refund within 2 business days after the return arrives at our warehouse. Custom-size and custom-cut items, special orders, installed, used or altered products cannot be returned.
Original shipping charges and return shipping costs are not refunded, unless required by law.
11. Custom Orders and Special Orders
Any order, including custom-size, custom-cut and made-to-order items, can be changed or cancelled until it ships, using our Change or Cancel Order page. After delivery, custom-size, custom-cut, special-order and made-to-order items cannot be returned.
Customers are responsible for confirming all measurements, specifications, material choices, finishes, and quantities before placing a custom or special order.
12. Installation Disclaimer
Plato Surfaces does not provide installation services unless specifically stated in writing. Product information on our website is not a substitute for professional installation advice.
Customers are responsible for hiring qualified professionals and ensuring that products are suitable for the intended installation area, building conditions, codes, and project requirements.
We are not responsible for labor costs, installation costs, removal costs, project delays, contractor charges, or damages caused by improper installation, handling, storage, cutting, or use.
13. Account Registration
