Marble, granite or quartz
Start with a collection that complements your tile, wood flooring or room palette. Choose from the marble, granite and quartz options available in the builder. Light stones can continue a soft, neutral scheme; dark collections can introduce contrast.
Use the collection images to compare the overall color and pattern, then view the product photo for your selected edge. Color and pattern can vary between pieces, so a sample can help you make your choice.

Polished or matte finish
Polished surfaces have a reflective appearance. Matte surfaces offer a softer, low-sheen look. Compare the available finishes with the materials around your doorway and choose the look that suits your space.
The builder displays the finishes offered for your selected collection. Your stone arrives with the finish and edge profile you choose.
Eased and Hollywood edges
- Eased Edge: a small bevel softens the long edges.
- One Side Hollywood Edge: one sloped long edge, also called Single Hollywood.
- Two Side Hollywood Edge: sloped edges on both long sides, also called Double Hollywood.
Available profiles depend on your collection and finish. For a transition between different floor heights, confirm the profile and finished dimensions with your installer.

How to size your doorway threshold
Enter the finished stone measurements you want in inches. Width and length describe the stone itself, rather than the overall door size.
Measure the width
Width is the depth of the threshold from one flooring surface toward the other. Decide how much of the transition the stone needs to cover.
Measure the length
Length runs across the doorway, from side to side. Confirm the required finished length and any installation clearance before ordering.
Enter and review
Type a decimal or fraction, such as 4.5 or 4 1/2. The builder helps you choose a supported measurement. Check your stone, finish, edge, final size, quantity and price.
Custom sizing reduces an available catalog size. The finished dimensions must fit within a supported piece for your selected configuration.

Questions about custom stone thresholds
Can I order a threshold cut to my measurements?
Yes. Choose your stone, finish and edge, then enter your final width and length. The builder checks the available catalog sizes for that configuration. Custom sizing reduces a suitable piece to your requested dimensions; it does not increase its width or length.
What if my size falls between standard sizes?
Enter the finished dimensions you need, rather than rounding them yourself. The builder matches a suitable catalog size and includes applicable customization fees in the displayed price. If the measurement needs adjustment, use a suggested value or enter another supported size.
Can I enter fractions instead of decimals?
Yes. You can enter 4.5 or 4 1/2 for the same measurement. Use inches for both width and length. Review the final size shown with your selection before adding the threshold to your cart.
Is the threshold delivered as finished stone?
Yes. Custom sizing includes cutting and finishing. Your threshold arrives as a finished product in your requested supported dimensions, with the selected surface finish and edge profile.
When can I see the price?
Complete the stone, finish and edge choices, then enter a supported width, length and quantity. The builder displays the price before you add the threshold to your cart. Review the total whenever you change your configuration or measurements.
Can I order a sample before the full threshold?
After you complete a valid configuration and size, an Order Sample button appears when a sample is available for that product. Use a sample to compare the stone with your surrounding finishes before choosing your full threshold.
